PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

The Coding program is a training course designed to educate students on the development and coding of modern software. The program covers development practices, coding languages, and frameworks used in the IT industry. Students will be provided the knowledge to use JavaScript to create full-stack web applications and native desktop applications.
Coding has a capstone project where students cap off the program by going over how the technologies learned thus far can be combined to create full-stack applications and have the students create fully functioning web applications.
Upon successful completion of the program, students may test to obtain the following certifications:
CIW Web Foundations Associate
CIW Internet Business Associate
CIW Side Development Associate
CIW Network Technology Associate
CIW Advance HTML5 and CSS3 Specialist
CIW JavaScript Specialist
MongoDB Developer Associate
CAREER PATHWAYS
Education attained through the Coding program prepares students for the positions in industry such as Analyst Programmer, Application Programmer, Analyst Computer Programmer, Analyst Internet Programmer, Java Developer Programmer, Programmer Analyst, Web Applications Programmer and Web Programmer*
