Dress Code
The West-MEC Program Recognition Ceremony is, first and foremost, a professional venue for students to be recognized for career preparedness. Just as in your career field where company policies related to dress and grooming are maintained, West-MEC has developed its own policies for the Recognition Ceremony. Students should dress in business attire, as defined below, for the event.
Males: Dress slacks, dress shirt and tie, polo shirt, socks, belt, and dress shoes. No hats, gym shoes or sandals.
Females: Dress, business skirt/pants and coordinated blouse, dress shoes or dress sandals. Dresses and skirts must be of appropriate length; no low-cut tops, sheer fabrics or evening gowns. no hats, gym shoes or flip-flops.
